MIDDLE CREEK HIGH SCHOOL

This three story brick clad building is a prototype school also used at Green Hope, Holly Springs and Wakefield, each of which was also designed by LHC. The building features a central high bay commons area with exposed steel trusses. The classroom wings are three stories with structural steel framing. The auditorium and gymnasium spaces are framed with long span steel joists. The building is entered beneath an exposed structural steel canopy into a high bay atrium clad with curtain wall and metal panel. The project also included design of a 15,000 square foot community center as well as the football and track stadium.
