Completed in 2003, This unique project involved two building structures. Building “A” was the construction of a two story frame within an original 1927 building enclosure. Structural steel framing on spread footings was erected within the shored brick and masonry envelope. Two existing buildings were demolished to make way for Building “B”, a two-story building with an auditorium, dining hall, classroom space and support space. The project included significant site structures: an outdoor amphitheater at Building “B”, a raised terrace at Building “A” and a screened mechanical yard and loading dock.
