The original 1972 Boshamer Stadium was partially demolished, reconstructed and expanded into this premium facility that is amongst the top in college baseball. The new stadium seats 4,100 with overflow capacity at 5,000 fans. The heart of the stadium from first base around to third base features a dramatic canopy roof integrated with press boxes and suites. The seating in this area was expanded at each end with precast concrete seating risers on structural steel raker beams. The steel framed roof new seating are founded on existing concrete footings strengthened with mini-piles. Aluminum manufacturer-designed grandstand seating was added in the outfields along the first base and third base lines, supported on concrete footings. The project also includes several concessions and restroom buildings, a maintenance building, a batting cage building and a scoreboard structure.
